Zucotto Wireless Inc. Launches Version 2.0 of Whiteboard ™ Software Development Kit For J2ME™ Platform

Zucotto Wireless Inc. today announced the launch of Version 2.0 of its free wireless development kit optimized for the J2ME™ platform. Developers can download the Standard Edition of the WHITEboard™ SDK from the company's website, www.zucotto.com, and immediately begin developing applications and services for next-generation wireless devices.
The WHITEboard™ SDK provides a complete development environment for creating and testing wireless Java applications for J2ME™-compliant mobile devices. The SDK features a tightly integrated development environment and full suite of development tools. The WHITEboard SDK complies with the J2ME configuration and profile for mobile devices (CLDC and MIDP).
Version 2.0 of the SDK features a JVMDI debugger — new to J2ME development — which provides full support for breakpoints and multi-threaded debugging. Also featured is the ability to create MIDlet suites for seamless preverification, debugging, and packaging. In addition, the new SDK includes a graphics application for creating unique and interesting MIDP-compliant PNG images.
Zucotto also offers the WHITEboard SDK, Bluetooth™ Edition, the first development kit to extend Bluetooth functionality to wireless Java development. The Bluetooth Edition includes, fully qualified XJB 100 Bluetooth Host Protocol Stack, a pair of Bluetooth Communications Boards, and Bluetooth Developer API.
