Z-Communications Launches Coaxial Resonator VCO With Ultra Low Phase Noise

San Diego, CA - Z-Communications, Inc. announced a new RoHS compliant Coaxial Resonator VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CRO3467A-LF in S-band. The CRO3467A-LF operates from 3460-3475 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -112 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 16 MHz/V.

The CRO3467A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 4.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 20 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features excellent 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc (typ) and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CRO3467A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
