WIRELESS 99—ORTEL Delivers CDMA, GSM-1900 Repeaters

Ortel has released two new repeaters at this week's Wireless 99 show in New Orleans.

The MirrorCell CDR802 800 repeater is specifically designed to improve coverage in CDMA cellular applications. This dual-channel product is available with up to 8 W output power and a user interface. In addition, this device sports receive diversity, a 5 dB reverse link noise figure, and remote monitoring for frequency and gain control.

The CSFT1902 frequency-translating repeater is targeted at GSM-1900 applications. This two-channel, off-air product supports 100 dB gain. As a result, engineers can locate these repeaters further from their base stations without losing antenna isolation.

The CSFT1902 also features +33 dBm output power per channel and remote monitoring capabilities,.
