In an ideal scenario, a pulsed RF signal should smoothly transition from zero rise time to its maximum amplitude, resulting in a flat-topped rectangular shape. However, in reality, the signal cannot adhere to these ideal standards and may experience unwanted phenomena such as overshoot, which distorts the RF signal.
