Wandel & Goltermann, Wavetek Close Merger

Wandel & Goltermann and Wavetek have closed their merger agreement. The new created test company, called Wavetek Wandel & Goltermann, will continue to market its products under the Wandel & Goltermann and Wavetek brand names.

The parent company of the combined organization is incorporated in the US and will operate from dual offices in Eningen, Germany, and Research Triangle Park, NC. Terence Gooding, formerly, chairman and CEO of Wavetek, and Albrect Wandel, formerly chairman of Wandel & Goltermann, will serve as co-chair of Wavetek Wandel & Goltermann. Peter Wagner, former president and CEO of Wandel & Goltermann, will assume the position of president, CEO, and director of Wavetek Wandel & Goltermann.
