Vector Network Analyzer

Hewlett-Packard's (HP's) 8753E vector network analyzer (VNA) measures critical performance parameters in RF components. Operating across the 30 kHz to 6 GHz range, this instrument can simultaneously display all four S-parameters. By doing this, the VNA eliminates the need to manually recall instrument states when measuring each S-parameter. The instrument also employs an adapter-removal calibration technique and offers a harmonic measurement capability. The harmonic measurement capability allows swept-second and third harmonic levels down to -40 dBc to be displayed directly or relatively to the fundamental carrier.
