Ultralife Wins $400,000 Lithium Battery Order

Ultralife Batteries has a received a purchase order for its Thin Cell primary lithium (Li) batteries valued at approximately $400,000. Under the contract, Ultralife will supply Li batteries to I.D. Systems for use in RF identification (RFID) systems that monitor the movement of assets.

Ultralife manufactures and markets Li batteries that are employed in consumer, industrial and military products. The company's rechargeable batteries are used in cellular telephones and portable electronic products.
