TIA Appoints New Senior Director, Standards and Technology

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA; Arlington, VA) has promoted Thanos Kipreos to senior director, standards and technology. He has worked for the company for more than 25 years and has extensive background in the telecommunications industry.

In his new role as senior director, Kipreos' responsibilities include participating in the work of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), including its Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group and the ITU World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly.
