Switched-Capacitor Voltage Converter

National Semiconductor's LM3351 switched-capacitor voltage converter is designed for step-up (boost) 3:2 conversion or step-down (buck) 2:3 conversion applications. Housed in an MSOP-8 package, this product converts supply voltages at a typical efficiency of 95% and drives a 50 mA load. This converter also offers a 200 kHz switching frequency and is designed for wireless power applications. The voltage converter consumes 1.1 mA quiescent current in step-up mode and a 0.8 mA quiescent current in step-down mode. A shut down mode is included to reduce quiescent current to 25 nA.
