SATIMO Receives $5 Million In Test System Orders

Paris, France - SATIMO, through its subsidiary ORBIT/FR, Inc., a Microwave Vision Company, and a leading producer of automated microwave test and measurement systems for the aerospace, defense, communications, automotive and satellite industries, has recently been awarded a contract for a large turn-key multi-purpose compact range and EMC test system, as well as several other new orders, totaling approximately $5M.

One of the facilities, to be developed for a US Defense customer, is a full turn-key indoor compact range and far-field antenna measurement system including anechoic chamber that will also be used for EMC measurements. The system includes mechanical, software/data acquisition, RF, and shielding subsystems. The RF absorbing materials are to be provided by ORBIT/FR's subsidiary Advanced ElectroMagnetics.
