The UPF18060 discrete RF power transistor is designed with the company's UltraGOLDII=81 LDMOS technology for reliable performance. It serves as a drop-in replacement for Motorola MRF18060.
The transistor ranks as the first UltraGOLDII=81 LDMOS product in the company's new family of drop-in replacements with a frequency band of 1.805 to 1.880 and rated for a minimum 60W output power. Future products will include 30W, 90W and 120W power devices for DSC, PCS and UMTS.
The device can be dropped into existing power amplifier designs with no matching changes required, facilitating quick and easy insertion into existing DCS base station power amp designs. The device achieves high performance at a low cost. It is ideally suited for CDMA, TDMA, GSM and multicarrier power amplifiers in Class A or Class AB operation.
