RF Micro Devices Announces Proposed Public Offering

RF Micro Devices Inc. has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed public offering of 1.75 million shares of common stock by the Company and 250,000 shares of common stock by TRW Inc. The managing underwriters for the offering, which is expected to commence in January, are Credit Suisse First Boston Corp., CIBC Oppenheimer Corp., Hambrecht & Quist LLC, and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities LLC.
