RELTEC Acquires Evergood Telecom Enclosures

RELTEC Corp. has acquired the assets of Evergood Telecom Enclosures. Evergood designs, manufactures, and markets power transfer devices and custom enclosures for wireless applications.

RELTEC will continue to run operations at Evergood's 158,000 square plant in Welcome, NC. RELTEC also has plants in LaGrange, GA; Greenville, MS; and Milwaukee, WI.

The acquisition is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 1998. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
