PTK Centertel, Nokia Sign Expansion Contract

Nokia (Helsinki, Finland) and Polish GSM 1800 operator PTK Centertel have extended their long-term frame agreement for the supply of GSM equipment, in a deal worth approximately Euro 55 million. Nokia will supply network infrastructure equipment to Centertel for their Idea GSM 1800 network, including Nokia mobile switching centers, base stations, and base station controllers. In addition, a range of customer services will be supplied, covering implementation and technical support.
