PORON Urethane Foams Approved by CSA

The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approved Rogers' standard grades of its PORON urethane foam materials for gasketing and flammability. The urethane foams may be used as components of electrical and electronic equipment where CSA approval is required to determine acceptability of the final assembly.

Standard grades of PORON urethane foams, in thicknesses above 0.062 in., met CSA approval and appear in the CSA Component Acceptance, plastics program, which recognizes materials that meet HBF Flame Tests. Most thicknesses of PORON urethane foams also meet the UL-94 horizontal burn test standards for foam materials.
