Phase Matrix Purchases EIP Microwave Assets

San Jose, CA-based Phase Matrix Inc. has paid $1.26 million for the assets of EIP Microwave Inc. (Harrisonburg, VA), a manufacturer of microwave test equipment for the wireless as well as defense markets. The assets include manufacturing rights, intellectual property, as well as inventory of EIP's microwave frequency counter lines including VXI products, microwave synthesizer products, and customer service department. Phase Matrix commenced production of the instruments formerly manufactured by EIP Microwave immediately after the closing.
