OTP Memories

One-Time Programmable (OTP) memories are ideal for cellular phones, portable GPS terminals, and similar mobile systems. Known as the Tiger range, the family offers both x8 and x16 configurations, with memory sizes ranging from 512 Kb, up to 8 Mb. It operates in read mode with supply voltages as low as 2.7 V.

With high speed times of 80 ns, and low standby and active currents of 15 µA, and 15 mA, the range delivers a combination of access time, and power consumption. This has been achieved by using the CMOS EPROM technology.

The devices are suitable for program code storage, with the x8 devices in the 1 Mb to 8 Mb range, offering the additional benefit of using the same PLCC and TSOP packages, with pin-to-pin compatibility.
