Newbridge Employs Millitech Radio Equipment

Millitech Corp. has signed an agreement with Newbridge Networks to develop and supply broadband wireless local loop (WLL) equipment. Newbridge will use Millitech's equipment in its Local Multipoint Communication System (LMCS) and Local Multipoint Distribution Service (LMDS) networks.

Millitech will supply point-to-multipoint radios to Newbridge for hub and customer premise locations. These radios are compatible with the US spectrum allocations for LMDS and the Canadian spectrum allocations for LMCS.
