Narda RF Switch Operates To 3 GHz With 2 Million Switching Operations

Hauppauge, NY - Narda, an L-3 Communications company, recently introduced the Model MS-SMA-020 SPDT fail-safe RF mechanical switch that operates from DC to 3 GHz and combines high performance with long-term reliability. It is an excellent choice for automated test equipment, base station transmitters and receivers, and general-purpose applications as well.

The Model MS-SMA-20 will withstand 2 million switching operations, and has insertion loss of less than 0.2 dB, isolation of 80 dB, and VSWR of 1.2:1. It can operate from -10 to +60 deg. C and requires 28 VDC at 160 mA. The switch uses SMA female connectors and is housed in a rugged enclosure measuring 1.5 x 1.34 x 0.5 in.
