Mitel Merges Semiconductor Companies

As part of a process to improve its US operations, Mitel Semiconductor has merged its US-based semiconductor companies into a single entity called Mitel Semiconductor.

The new organization will combine the capabilities of Mitel Semiconductor Americas, formerly GEC Plessey Semiconductor, and Mitel Semiconductor, formerly ABB HAFO AB. The new entity will continue to offer all of the product lines distributed by Mitel Semiconductor Americas and Mitel Semiconductor. These products include application-specific ICs (ASICs), optoelectronics devices, and analog line components.
