Microware Systems Corporation Names New Management Executives
Microware Systems Corporation announced two appointments to key management positions in its Japanese subsidiary.
Shigehiro Ishibashi, formerly president and representative director of Autodesk Japan, will serve as president and representative director of Microware Systems K.K. This position was previously held by Ken Kaplan, president and chief executive officer of Microware Systems Corporation, who will now serve as chairman of Microware Systems K.K. Hiromichi Sugimura, formerly sales account manager for Adobe Systems Japan, will serve as director, sales and marketing for Microware Systems K.K.
At Autodesk Japan,, Ishibashi served as president and representative director for four years where he developed one of Japan's first broad retail channel for affordable CAD software
Prior to Autodesk Japan, Mr. Ishibashi held various executive positions from 1981 to 1993 at Burr-Brown Japan, including vice president. Most recently, Mr. Sugimura served as sales account manager for Adobe Systems Japan.
