Micronetics to Acquire Vectronics Microwave

Test equipment and component manufacturer Micronetics Wireless Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Vectronics Microwave Corp. The transaction is expected to close later this month. Vectronics manufactures and markets microwave control components, including phase shifters, switches, attenuators, and vector modulators.

"This acquisition, and our recently completed acquisition of Microwave & Video Systems Inc., is expected to increase Micronetics' fiscal year 2000 revenue base by approximately 45%," Micronetics president Richard S. Kalin said.
