Maxrad's 2.4 GHz Omni Line Now Provides Higher Gain And Greater Mounting Versatility
The new MFB24010 ISM omni-directional antenna provides stable 10 dBi gain performance over 2.4 GHz frequencies, with a VSWR of less than 1.5:1. It is vertically polarized and terminates in a type N, female connector. Other electrical features include 50 ohms impedance, 100 MHz bandwidth at 1.5:1 VSWR and a 9ยบ vertical beamwidth at 1/2 power. Information on downtilt options is available from the factory. Like the other models in its series, the antenna is encased in pultruded UV-stable fiberglass radome of 5/8 inches in diameter that provides maximum durability. It can withstand winds of up to 125 mph and measures 36 inches tall, with a mounting base of 1-1/4 inches. The MFB24010 is designed for long-range wireless data collection requiring RF coverage. Ideal applications include traffic monitoring in the transportation industry, inventory tracking in factory floors, as well as Wireless Internet communications.
MAXRAD has also enhanced the line's versatility by providing various mount options, including the model MMK1924 L-bracket mount for wall or pipe installations, and the model MMK8 that permits mast mounting. The new model MMK11 is a powder coated ceiling mount bracket that allows discrete in-building installation where aesthetic considerations are critical. The entire MFB 2.4 GHz series is available through MAXRAD's network of authorized distributors.
