LinCom Corporation was founded in 1974 by Dr. William C. Lindsey, a recognized leader in the fields of communications sciences and engineering who has achieved the honors of IEEE Fellow, National Academy of Engineering Member, and Purdue University Outstanding Engineer of the Year during his career.

Since its inception, LinCom has been a major contributor in the advancement of satellite and terrestrial communications technology. The focus of LinCom's business is to architect and design digital telecommunication systems and related hardware and software products to support these systems as well as the development and application of innovative software technologies.

LinCom has been a key participant in important government programs of national interest such as Milstar, the Space Shuttle, and the Space Station. By working closely with NASA and the Department of Defense, LinCom has been an industry leader in developing state-of-the-art technology for space satellite communications.

LinCom's commercial projects include creating satellite-based and ground-based personal communication systems, building wireless communication products, and authoring expert system software for a wide array of WindowsTM and UNIX based applications.
