K&L Microwave, Inc., a division of Dover Corporation, and the recognized world leader in the design and manufacture of RF and Microwave filters, has expanded their manufacturing facilities to include a new building located on the corner of Naylor Mill Road and Northwood Drive. The acquisition will make available 64,000 square feet of additional space.

Renovations to the new building located at 2300 Northwood Drive will be completed sometime in October. The neighboring K&L building was opened in 1986 and will remain 2250 Northwood Drive. The two buildings will house K&L's manufacturing, engineering, sales, and administration.

The site was purchased earlier this year after Eaton Heinemann Electric Corporation relocated to Mexico. K&L is investing extensively in both of these facilities and adding new equipment to create a world class-manufacturing environment that will allow them to meet the growing design and production needs of their customers. According to Lou Abbagnaro, the President of K&L Microwave, the facility was obtained "to further provide for the expanding commercial communications markets and to bring all of K&L's resources together with a common focus and culture."

K&L Microwave serves the global marketplace in military, commercial, satellite and wireless communications with RF and microwave filter and filter based assembly solutions. K&L designs and manufactures a full line of RF and microwave filters, including ceramics, lumped element, cavity, waveguide and tunable filters.
