Counterpoint Systems Foundry's IrTran-P Add-In communications software is designed for image transfer applications over an Infrared Data Association (IrDA) infrared (IR) connection. IrTran-P is a reference specification that defines how to transfer digital pictures over an IR link. Ir-Tran-P Add-In is a complete implementation of this specification. It includes the SCEP command protocol and the bTFP file transfer protocol.

Though not part of the IrTran-P specification, the use of IrCOMM is required in the underlying protocol stack. Since some protocol stacks do not have IrCOMM, Counterpoint's software includes a Thin IrCOMM with all the required interfaces.

The software product is delivered in source code form with complete documentation.
