Ingram Micro to Distribute CodeWarrior for Red Hat Linux, GNU Edition

Software development tool provider Metrowerks Inc. (Austin, TX) announced Ingram Micro Inc. (Santa Ana, CA) will be the primary distributor of CodeWarrior for Red Hat Linux, GNU Edition in the US, and will provide further distribution in Canada.

CodeWarrior for Red Hat Linux, GNU Edition will be available through major retail outlets such as CompUSA Inc. and Micro Center. Several online distribution outlets, including Buy.com, Outpost.com, Egghead.com, and PC Zone, are also authorized resellers of software.

Metrowerks is the first software vendor to provide commercial-grade software development tools on the Linux operating system. Metrowerks has also announced CodeWarrior for Red Hat Linux, Professional Edition, which will feature Metrowerks' compilers and debuggers. It is scheduled to ship in the fourth calendar quarter of 1999.
