GORE-SHIELD® GS500 EMI Gaskets

The GS500 gasket material consists of expanded PTFE that has been filled with a highly conductive carbon particle, and is intended for use in non-military gaskets. At frequencies from 0.3 to 3GHz, GS500 EMI gaskets provide shielding effectiveness of 45dB and greater. Higher frequency testing (18-40 GHz) has proven shielding effectiveness in the range of 55-85 dB. The material is available as die-cut gaskets or in strip form. Die-cut gaskets are supplied to customer dimensional specifications, while strip gasketing is available in standard thicknesses (10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 125 mils) and standard widths (125, 250, 375, 500 mils).
