Telulex Inc.'s SG-100A function generator offers modulation capabilities. As a result, when using this instrument, engineers can download binary messages of up to 960 b in length from a host computer for frequency-shift-keying (FSK) or AM digital modulation. The instrument's carrier frequency may be specified from 0 Hz to 20 MHz in 0.1 Hz steps. In addition its baud rate is adjustable from 1 Hz to 130 kHz in 1 Hz steps.
