Fall Workshop Features Crime-Fighting Tools For "Fraud in a Brave New World"

The Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association's (CTIA's) seventh annual Wireless Fraud Workshop and Product Showcase will feature companies providing anti-fraud services and products for the wireless industry.

Wireless Fraud '97, "Fraud in a Brave New World," will be held in Orlando, Florida from Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 1997.

The workshop, for wireless industry professionals, analysts, government communications officials, and law enforcement officials, is to feature an exposition of fraud-fighting vendors demonstrating their newest anti-fraud products.

Corsair Communications expects to unveil its PhonePrint Service Bureau program for fraud protection in smaller markets and rural service areas. PhonePrint is an RF fingerprinting system that prevents cloned cellular phones from gaining access to cellular networks.
