Everex Systems
Founded in 1983, Everex Systems Inc. remains a leader in the personal computer industry. Everex is part of an international technology group that includes First International Computer (FIC) and VIA Technologies. This affiliation allows us to obtain the highest quality components at very aggressive prices, offering the end-user exceptional value, while providing the company with engineering and financial resources to design, manufacture and support state-of-the-art computer systems.
Our Products
The Everex line of high performance solutions includes Servers and desktops featuring AMD® and Intel® processors. AMD platforms include the Enhanced Athlon® and Duron® processors. Intel platforms include Pentium® III and Celeron® processors with MMX technology.
Everex targets our product development efforts to produce cost-effective systems compatible with the industry's most popular applications and operating systems. Everex established a standard for compatibility testing that continues to be a model for the industry. Extensive testing and rigid qualification procedures assure our commercial and retail customers products that work with a wide range of peripherals and software.
Everex manufactures our systems in a 100,000 square feet manufacturing facility in Fremont, California. We have an additional 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space in an adjacent building for increased manufacturing capability during peak production periods. Additionally, we have access to the facilities of our technology group, giving Everex a maximum monthly production capability of up to 500,000 systems per month!
The Everex Quality Process
Staking our reputation on the quality of our products, Everex routinely performs an elevated-temperature burn-in test for 12 hours before products are packaged and shipped. When we do further integration of third-party components, the systems are burned in for an additional 4 hours after the integration process. This process is far superior to the room temperature, or sampled high temperature burn-in process used by most other major manufacturers. This superior process has resulted in a <1% DOA rate for delivered products. The advanced burn-in process also reduces the experienced average field failure rates for Everex desktop computers to less than 3%.
The Everex manufacturing facility is a fully certified FCC testing and certification facility. Not only does Everex certify our own products for FCC compliance, but also contracts out this service to other systems manufacturers.
