The TIGER 5410/PC is a digital signal processor (DSP) development system based on Texas Instruments' TMS320VC5410 100 MIPS DSP. Each system comes with 256 kB of static RAM and two channels of 16-b, 48-kHz CD quality analog I/O with standard stereo mini phone jacks for microphone and line input and output. For fax/modem applications, the board offers a built-in standard RJ-11 telephone interface and an on-board RS-232 UART that can be used to configure the board to emulate a standard modem or fax machine.
