Dialogic, DataKinetics Team To Deliver Scaleable SS7 Solution

Dialogic and DataKinetics have jointly developed a scaleable signaling system 7 (SS7) solution that allows designers to offer a range of systems built on open components. According to the companies, the new solution allows engineers to develop cost-effective solutions for network solutions such as short message service and pre-paid calling.

With the SS7 solution, engineers can scale from a 24-port system to systems with over 1,000 ports using the same application protocol interface (API). In addition, servers using this product can increase service availability by operating in a load-sharing configuration using single point code and distributed SS7 links.

The SS7 solution offers an open, layered protocol stack that allows developers to interface to any level of the protocol and, if required, combine it with existing SS7 software. The solution is also fully compatible with ANSI, ITU, and ETSI standards.
