Compaq, Motorola CIG Unveil OEM Agreement

Motorola Inc.'s Cellular Infrastructure Group (CIG) and Compaq Computer Corporation are entering into an agreement to provide Motorola CIG with intelligent network products incorporating Compaq's IS-41 Home Location Register and Authentication Center solutions for cellular and Personal Communication Service (PCS) networks.

Under the terms of the agreement, Motorola CIG will market Compaq's wireless applications on NonStop Himalaya platforms.
