Combat Electrical Arcing In Circuits With Suppressor/Snubber Network Devices For Relays
Knowles Precision Devices offers the QAS series of arc suppressor/snubber components, designed to combat electrical arcing and extend the lifespan of electronic devices. These components also reduce spark-generated EMI/RFI, minimizing noise and interference. Each device in the QAS series features a metallized polyester capacitor RC network coated with a flame-retardant epoxy, resulting in a compact and robust output. Knowles Precision Devices also provides a range of arc suppressor/snubber network devices with various specifications, including capacitance values of up to 1.0uF and resistor values up to 680 ohms, rated voltage options up to 1600 Vdc/660 Vac, and temperature ranges from -55 °C to +85 °C.
