CES 2022 | Fibocom LTE-A Module FM101 Gets A Boost With FCC, CE Certifications

During CES 2022, Fibocom announce that its LTE Advanced module FM101 has been successfully certified by FCC and CE, which is significant for the module to march into the global market.

Fibocom’s LTE-A wireless communication module FM101 is now fully capable to boost highly efficient connectivity for the global customers, with FM101-NA certified by FCC and FM101-EAU certified by CE.

Featuring 3GPP R12 capabilities, Fibocom’s FM101 module is a high-value LTE-A Cat 6 module ideally suitable for terminal devices such as CPE, STB, IPC, ODU, PDA etc. Powered by the Snapdragon X12+ LTE Modem, FM101 supports more than 20 LTE frequency bands as well as WCDMA fallback, delivering maximum data rates of up to 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink respectively. Adopting the M.2 form-factor, the module supports multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS/ Galileo/ GLONASS/ BeiDou), which provides high-performance positioning and navigation while greatly simplifies product design. It also supports multiple Internet protocols and industry-standard interfaces for main operating systems (such as USB and PCIe drivers for Windows, Linux and Android OS).

To date, Fibocom’s FM101 module has been certified by FCC/ CE/ IC/ HF/ RoHS/ TSCA/ UKCA/ RCM/ Reach. The commercial sample of FM101 is now ready for international shipping.
