LSI Logic has released a programmable single-chip CDMA baseband architecture
LSI Logic has released a programmable single-chip CDMA baseband architecture for wireless handsets. Developed using G11 CMOS process technology and the CoreWare design program, this architecture includes the ARM7 Thumb microprocessor, dual OakDSPCore digital signal processors (DSPs), DSP read-only memory (ROM) and random-access memory (RAM), and a voice codec. The architecture also houses transmit and receive filters, analog-to-digital converters (A/Ds), digital-to-analog converters (D/As), phased-locked loops (PLLs) memories, and peripheral interfaces.
