AWR And DuPont Microcircuit Materials Deliver LTCC PDK For Microwave Office

El Segundo, CA and Research Triangle Park, NC -- Applied Wave Research, Inc. and DuPont Microcircuit Materials, part of DuPont Electronic Technologies, announced the availability of a process design kit (PDK) that enables radio-frequency, microwave, and millimeter wave designers to access the DuPont GreenTape low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) technology within AWR's Microwave Office 2006 software. Using the DuPont LTCC PDK in conjunction with the Microwave Office open and integrated design platform, RF, as well as monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), and hybrid circuit designers, can improve circuit design productivity, shorten product development cycle, and speed time-to-market for high-frequency products.

The PDK gives Microwave Office users access to the DuPont low-loss lead-free 943 Green Tape LTCC system. The system is suitable for high-frequency applications, delivering high density functionality; low power requirements, and low cost interconnect packaging.
