Alcatel-Lucent Awards BVS Contract For 3.5 GHz Test Equipment

Metuchen, NJ -- Berkeley Varitronics Systems, Inc. (BVS) has been awarded an initial contract from Alcatel-Lucent of Mexico.

Alcatel-Lucent has ordered (4) WiMAX systems comprised of Gator 3.4 to 3.7 GHz stimulus transmitters and Coyote 3.5 GHz receiver systems as well Berkeley's latest ForeCaster mapping solution to aid in the WiMAX testing taking place in Mexico.

This contract solidifies BVS' commitment to the continual WiMAX growth that is happening around the globe. "We are pleased that we have been selected as a vendor for this 3. 5 GHz WiMAX propagation analysis equipment and software and expect further sales throughout Mexico as a result.", said Scott Schober, President & CEO of BVS.
