Airspan Acquires Fixed Wireless Product Line From Cambium Networks
Plano, TX ( BUSINESS WIRE ) - Airspan Networks Holdings LLC ("Airspan"), a provider of advanced wireless connectivity solutions for harsh environments, today announced the acquisition of several fixed wireless product lines for service provider, defense, and critical communications customers from Cambium Networks Ltd. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed at this time.
The acquired portfolio includes point-to-multipoint access via the PMP 450 platform, unlicensed point-to-point backhaul via PTP 670, point-to-point systems for defense applications via PTP 700, millimeter-wave point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connectivity via cnWave, and narrowband communications for industrial environments via cnReach. The transaction also includes management and planning software for the acquired portfolio, including LINKPlanner, cnHeat, and cnMaestro.

As part of this transaction, more than 135 Cambium employees have joined Airspan. This includes sales and support personnel in the US, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa, as well as research and development (R&D) teams in the US, UK, and India.
Airspan is proceeding with this transaction based on its strong financial foundation and growing business performance. Its revenue for the first half of 2026 was $70 million, a 112% increase year-over-year. Furthermore, its revenue for the 12 months ending June 2026 reached $152 million, demonstrating high profitability. Airspan plans to leverage this foundation to support investment in and growth of the acquired products, customers, and teams.
