ACELP Vocoder Option

Wavetek has introduced an ACELP vocoder option for the 3600D cellular test system. Combined with the test system's TDMA test option, the ACELP vocoder allows engineers to test several voice processing modes when evaluating a handset's audio paths. With this option, engineers can test transmit and receive audio path, select the voice codec type, and select the message signaling channel.
