Qorvo Introduces High Power Plastic Packaged GaN MMICs
GaN Devices deliver industry-leading performance in low cost, space-saving packaging
Qorvo, Inc., a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile, infrastructure and aerospace / defense applications, recently announced the introduction of high power gallium nitride (GaN) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifiers in plastic packages designed to improve the size, weight and power performance in commercial and military S-band radar applications.

The TGA2818-SM, TGA2817-SM, TGA2814-SM and TGA2813-SM provide unparalleled output power and power added efficiency (PAE) in a low cost, space-saving surface-mount plastic QFN package. They are available at power levels of 30, 60, 80 and 100 watts and operate up to 3.6 GHz. Samples of Qorvo's plastic packaged GaN MMICs are available today.
