CATV Power Doubler Amplifier: RFCM2680

RFMD's new CATV power doubler amplifier in a multi-chip module features extremely high output capability, excellent linearity, extremely low distortion, optimal reliability, superior return loss performance, and more. This amplifier employs GaAs pHEMT die and GaN HEMT die. 50% board space is saved with the RFCM2680 when compared to the traditional SOT115 packages, while maintaining excellent linearity and ruggedness. This amplifier can operate at 20% less current than that of GaAs-based products for comparable distortion level due to the efficient nature of the GaN process.
