WinStar, Lucent Form Marketing Alliance

Lucent Technologies (Murray Hill, NJ) and WinStar Communications Inc. (New York) have formed a five-year marketing alliance that will bring together WinStar's telecommunications services with Lucent's communications networking products for business customers worldwide.

WinStar will team with Lucent to provide enterprise customers with a wide range of telecommunications services—including voice, data, and Internet—using Lucent's equipment and software, over WinStar's end-to-end digital broadband network. The companies will work together to jointly develop and market new products and services, incorporating WinStar's wireless fiber network with Lucent's communications, data networking, and business telephone systems.
