Wide Instantaneous Bandwidth High-Efficiency Power Amplifiers
Skyworks offers the SKY66312-11, SKY66317-11 and SKY66318-11 fully input/output matched power amplifier with high efficiency and a wide instantaneous bandwidth. The compact power amplifier is designed for FDD and TDD 4G LTE and 5G systems. It is part of a high-efficiency, pin-to-pin compatible PA family supporting major 3GPP bands.
The active biasing circuitry is integrated to compensate these amplifiers’ performance over temperature, voltage, and process variation. The SKY66312-11 operates over the 2300 to 2400 MHz, SKY66318-11 operates over the 3300 to 3600 MHz, and the SKY66317-11 operates over the 2496 to 2690 MHz frequency range. Additional features include 100 MHz of wide instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, high linearity, and excellent input and output return loss. They are housed in a compact (16-pin, 5 × 5 × 1.3 mm) package.
