20 to 6000MHz GaN Amplifier Offers 35 Watts

RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a broad bandwidth, GaN, solid state power amplifier from Aethercomm. Model Number SSPA 0.020-6.000-35 operates from 20MHz to 6GHz and delivers 35 to 50 Watts (typ.) of saturated output power for broad band T&M, military and commercial applications. Typical small signal gain is up to 49dB with gain flatness of +/-4dB. Operating from a +28V supply, this class AB amplifier includes an external DC blanking command that enables and disables the module in less than 20.0 uSec. Standard features include over/under voltage protection and reverse polarity protection. The SSPA 0.020-6.000-35 is offered in a modular housing that is approximately 7.65(W)” by 2.5(L)” by 1.27(H)”.
