The Smart Antenna For The Smart IoT World

Fractus Antennas (NN) has released a new application note to show engineers how easy is to choose the antenna for an IoT project. Engineers can use a unique chip antenna component for any standard or frequency band: the RUN mXTEND.

This design guide “The Smart Antenna for the Smart IoT World” explains how to use the RUN mXTEND antenna booster as the unique chip antenna component for any IoT standard in the smaller package ever. The antenna is an essential component for any wireless device and engineers usually leave it as the last component to integrate, this is a typical error, as the antenna should be integrated from day one.

The RUN mXTEND antenna booster provides multiband performance in wireless devices throughout a large range of frequencies (824-960 MHz, 1710-2690 MHz), enabling worldwide coverage and allowing operation in multiple IoT related communication standards such as NB-IoT, LTE-M, LoRa, Zigbee, SigFox, Neul, Thread, Z-Wave, Weightless, all mobile GSM/UMTS/LTE bands for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G sub-6GHz, Bluetooth and WIFI.

Does not matter the standard or frequency band, licensed or unlicensed all of them can be covered with Virtual Antenna and its RUN mXTEND.
