CATV Amplifiers: ACA4788, ACA2778
Skyworks offers new models of CATV power amplifier modules designed for CATV applications with operating frequencies ranging from 50 to 1218 MHz.
The ACA4788 is a highly linear high-output power RF amplifier module in the industry standard SOT-115 package. Designed for deep fiber node CATV infrastructure applications, the module consists of two parallel amplifiers in cascade, forming a power-doubler optimized for low distortion, high output power, and very high TCP.
The ACA2778 is a hybrid amplifier module consisting of two parallel amplifiers in cascade forming a push-pull optimized for low noise, low distortion, high gain, and high output power per channel. High gain permits 1000 and 874 MHz upgrades without expensive and disruptive amplifier re-spacing.
