Fast Acting Over-molded Fuses: SKY87604
The SKY87604 is an over-molded fuse designed to prevent contact between the metallic material and the body of the fuse while maintaining the minimum clearance regulated by UL. This fast acting fuse enables high inrush current withstanding capability, and provides sufficient clearance from external metallic material in a space-saving 3.0mm x 3.0mm, 4-lead MCM, lead-free package.
With three models ranging in different ampere ratings, the fuses also satisfy the UL 60079-11, stating that the fuse element must be surrounded by at least 0.5mm of non-metallic material. The SKY87604 has an operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, and is suitable for both leaded and lead-free reflow/wave soldering in gas meter module applications. The SKY87604 is 100% lead-free, RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
