Bothell, WA -- AR Worldwide Modular RF, a division of AR Worldwide, has developed a group of accessories that add versatility and functions to its battle-tested KMW1030 booster amplifier.
The KMW1030 is a lightweight, manpack unit for tactical radio, developed for use in tough, demanding conditions. It covers the 30 to 512 MHz frequency bands including SATCOM; and is available in 12 watt and 20 watt configurations. The KMW1030 can be supplied to operate from 12 VDC or 24 VDC and it boosts 1 – 5 watts of radio power to 20 watts.
The new accessories, which were developed for field operation at the request of current users, include:
- Battery-adapter cable assembly that allows the KMW1030 to connect to two military BA-5590 batteries
- 24 VDC power cable with alligator clips for connection to the Military Vehicle Battery System
MBITR cable assembly with TNC plugs for connection to the MBIRT radio
- TRIVEC AV 2055-3 antenna cable assembly for connection to the TRIVEC AV-2055-3 antennas
- 24 VDC power cable with NATO slave plug enables connection to the Military Vehicle Battery System
